Question Hello!
If you were given three months to see Tanzania on a budget could you give me an idea of the best route around? I want to include all the main places, sites and attractions. Ideas for cheap accomodation and the cheapest way to travel from place to place would be great too!?
Thank you for any help!
Answer Hi Louise
The first thing you should do is a buy a lonely planet guide book as they will have all the up to date places to stay and how to get there.
Dont plan too much in advance as you will meet other travellers who will suggest places to go when you are out there.
the safari capital of the north is Arusha so make your way there and you can go to local tour operators and join a group going into the national parks. Zanzibar is also a must. But try and get off the beaten track a bit. One of my favourite trips was taking the boat up Lake Tanganyika and you can stop in Gombe National Park.
Get a guide book read up on the country and see what you like the look of.
