Question i'M INTERESTED IN GOING TO THE SELOUS AND ZANAIBAR IN FEB, 2002. WAS THERE IN SEPTEMBER THREE YEARS AGO AND IT WAS VERY HOT. WE TOOK VEHICLE AND FOOT SAFARIS IN SHORTS AND SANDLES BOTH EARLY AM AND LATE EVENING. DO YOU KNOW HOW THE WEATHER IS IN MID-FEBRUARY.

The weather in Selous and Zanzibar in February will be hot.
The 'long wet season' usually starts about mid Feb or early March so maybe expect some rain. Dec, Jan and Feb in Zanzibar is the hottest, most humid time of the year.
