Question I am a 35 y/o man who will be travelling this July to Africa with my father. We have two goals ... climb Mt. Kilamajaro and view wildlife. Although both of us have travelled for extended periods around the world (Vietnam, Guatemala, E. Europe), we have never been to Africa. We are comfortable travelling with backpacks. We do not require luxurious accomodations but need more than hostels or tents. Is it necessary to use a travel agent or can we make our own arrangements and still travel safely.
Answer hi, thank you for asking me a question.
First of all you will enjoy your trip, Tanzania is one of the safest country in africa.I think you should discuss with your travel agent to give you an idea about the arrangements, because is your first time to visit , and you don't know anybody. Also it is possible if you arrive to make your own plans. It is easy and simple.
If you have any question before or during your trip, please don't hesitate to ask, I will be more than happy to help.
