Question i would like to know of any safety issues in this park or region. i have been told that bandits might be a problem. any info would be helpful. thank you

Sorry for any delay in answering your question, I have been waiting for more information from Tanzania.
Mahale is one the smallest and less well known National Parks, due to the location it not so easy to reach.
I am informed that there has been no recent bandit acitivity. Access by road, from the north is not recommended but access by internal flights is OK.
