Question Hi, ive been keeping a few spiders now for couple of years, and wondered if you had ever heard of a mexican red knee sheding twice.... yes twice in a week?! This was about 3 months ago. He/she is doing really well. The shop I got him from didnt feed him much, but iv feed him all he will eat and he's growing well. He will eat 3 locusts in one hit! just wondered if you ever known one to shed twice that quick?
many thanks for your time
Answer Hey Gary
Tarantulas if they grow quickly may end up doing that. If they didn't feed him much before he may have some growing to catch up on and his fine diet would help that a lot. He should slow down since red knees are very slow growers, but I think that was just his spurt to catch up to where he should be. :)
