Question QUESTION: my bf and i were together for almost 3 years. it was long distance (1.5 hour drive). he now wants to be single and try to figure what he wants to do now that he has finished school. at the same time, he says he loves me. he has told his mom and sister it was because of the long distance and him wanting to be single. he has not told his friends because he now has doubts and is trying to figure out how we can be together. is this just a short break? or is his "i love you and miss" just empty words
ANSWER: Hi tran,
The answer I got from the angel board is that you need to hold back and have patience for now as you are both going through changes that will benefit you both. He does love and miss you, they are not empty words but he is confused and the best thing to do is nothing for now.
The angel cards I drew for you were:

Athena: She is the angel of power and she say's that it is safe for you to be powerful as you know how to do this in a loving way.

So basically follow your intuition and if you really love him, give him time but also use your power to make sure that he doesn't use you for his own benefit. I would suggest that the two of you sit down(make time and a plan) and discuss the situation. That way you will both know what the other person expects and if you's can reach a happy compromise, you both need to commit to it. A relationship doesn't matter how far apart (frankly an 1.5 hour isn't that far) can work if both parties want the same thing. Speak your mind and if he cannot make up his then you either have the choice to wait until he does or move on with yours. Communication is the key.

I am waiting patiently (trying really hard). it has been a week of waiting. when do you think is the best time (how long should i wait) to actually have the discussion you mentioned above? i have reluctantly been checking his myspace and although he has logged in recently, our pictures are still up. he is probably still confused as you mentioned above.

I think you should try speaking to him as soon as possible, remember this conversation will be to clarify if he needs time or not, and why he actually wants time apart and his confusion. When I said do nothing for now I didn't mean ignore him, just don't push him into a corner as yet. (i.e. You need to be clear in your mind as to his confusion).
