Expertise
My "Modern Oracle" psychic/tarot readings are based on a philosophy of spiritual guidance, empowerment of the individual, and a modern understanding of physics and psychics, space-time and spirituality

After 15+ years and hundreds of readings, I realize that people who are very focused on getting a specific "prediction" are not happy with my readings. If you want a prediction, there are millions of psychics in the world that will be happy to give you one.

I will not.

I believe that predictions rob you of your personal power and make you dependent on getting more and more readings. Predictions do more harm than good, whether they are "accurate" or not.

Remember that old saying: "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, but if you teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime."...psychic work is like that. A prediction is just one dead fish. A true, genuine psychic tarot reading will point you in the direction of a feast.

I would rather do ONE sincere reading that helps someone turn their life in a better direction than do a dozen "accurate predictions".

Thank you for reviewing my profile. If this sounds like the kind of reading you are looking for...then I look forward to reading for you!

P.S...a special word about health and relationship questions....

I don't take health questions here (please see my listing in alternative medicine). I believe it is unethical to look at someone's energies without their permission, so relationship questions must focus on YOU, not anyone else. Thank you.

I'm so sorry to take so long to reply to you. We lost all electricity for a few days because of a storm.

My style of Tarot reading does not make predictions about the future. Instead, let's look at the cards for ways to help you find a way to a happier life. I can't say when things will change, but lets try to find some ways to help make things change for the better...you have the power to improve things more than you might realize right now. You may not be able to change your in-laws, but you can become strong enough on the inside that they don't matter so much.

Your cards today are:

past...7 of swords...losing the way

present...sun...stability

future...queen of cups...stillness

advice...five of coins...compassion

outcome...the tower...chaos.

Tarot cards can do many things: give advice, caution against an idea or action, congratulate you for things well done, or simply acknowledge the pain you have experienced. This first card seems to do that. It acknowledges all the pain you have felt, to let you know that it is real, and even though other people may make light of what you feel, it is an important thing to you. There is a saying on television here "you can't fix what you don't acknowledge" ... so this card recognizes all you have felt and been through so that you can go about releasing the sadness and making things better as best you can.

With the sun card I get the feeling of a stable time without change...BUT it is time that can be a two-edged sword. You can look at that time of quiet and stability as more sadness and more trouble, OR you can experience it as a time of steadiness that lets you think and evaluate your situation.

I "hear" for you this:

It is important to take time to set aside the pain, even just for a moment, to see things as they are. Stop and take account of everything before you judge it as good or bad, happy or sad. Think of all the things that are good...all the things you have to be grateful for before you return to your sadness. Allow yourself to take a small vacation from the pain you have been feeling. It will still be there...IF you choose to return to it. But the choice is yours. Look at what is good and helping you. Then look at what is hurting you and making you sad. Then go one by one, and see what choices you have for each misfortune.  Remember, you choose how you feel about each thing. What are your options? What are your resources? If you stop and think about it mindfully, deliberately , meditatively, you may see choices and options that you didn't see before. When there are choices and options and decisions...then there is less room for sadness.

The queen of cups is clearly an advice card. Stillness is an old European reflection of what the modern world might call meditation, or listening to our inner quiet. If you pray or meditate, please keep up that practice to help you, whatever your belliefs may be.  In this inner quiet, you will see choices and comforts you may have missed before. If you do not pray, meditate or make time for reflection now, the advice of this card is to make time for such things in a way that is meaningful for you.

Compassion is also a way of looking at yourself, not just subjugating yourself and your will to others. This card is asking you to look at yourself with love and compassion. What can you do to nurture your own spirit as you go about your daily tasks and take care of others? When you are able to look at your own heart with compassion, then it becomes easier to deal with others compassionately, even those who are mean-spirited and unkind. Here I "hear" "release this"

The outcome card is the tower...here I think it is important to remember the old saying that "where there is chaos there is opportunity"...when the tower card comes, often change is indeed on the way. I think that is why there was such an energy of importance about the Sun card...use your time of stabiility wisely to think about the things that go with the sun card above, so you can be ready when change comes...ready to make that change work FOR your advantage...in other words, be ready to find the opportunity hidden in the chaos.

And that is all that is coming through right now. I wish you all the best
