Question
Hi Sally

I am a female, aged 50.  From the years 2000-2006 I was working for a holistic massage school as a business manager and did wonderfully.  The job got too stressful, so in 2006 I left and got a job with a bank.  The bank job was phased out after 9 months and I went to work for another school, but the school was a fly by night school and I uncovered bad business practices and was fired.  It was an awful situation.  I was out of work for 3 months and very depressed and collected unemployment.  I was not sure what I wanted to do with my life.  All other aspects of my life are very good.

I was offered a job with a Jewish community center selling memberships and I am not sure this job is for me.  It's very political and I sometimes feel uncomfortable there even though I am Jewish and know a lot of people there.  It just is very stressful.

I can't leave this job now since my salary pays my son's college tuition and it would not look good on a resume to leave. I almost feel like I can't find what I want to do with the rest of my life.

Can you tell me if this job is something that will work out with time, or do I need to start to look for something else.  I've been here for about two months.  My birthday is July 1, 1958.

Answer
Greetings Sharon:

I'm sorry to hear about all your in's and out's professionally.  I know how -very- traumatizing that can be, believe me!

I am reading tonight from the Radiant Rider-Waite tarot.  Let us pull some cards and see what they have to tell us.

I have asked the cards the following question,"Will Sharon's present position work out for her in time, or does she need to begin looking for something new?"

I have pulled the following cards:

Key XVII/The Star
Key XIV/Temperance
KeyVII/The Chariot

While you have suffered loss and privation, you were able to rise above it all with the brightest of prospects.  You may be living a bit more frugally than you were at first but this is really a great victory.

I sense that this position is where you need to be right now and that from this you can rise to the top of the heap. You need to rely a bit more on your networking abilities and the help of friends and always keep you eyes and ears open but I am thinking you need to stay put for a bit, this position is going to work out.

I look forward to receiving your feedback and I wish you the brightest of blessings.

Sally
