Subject: Yellow in my tattoo
Question Friday, Sept 26th I got a tattoo of a half moon. The moon was supposed to be yellow with a little bit of dark yellow on the edges. The moon appears to be a little to orangey, is this because it isn't totally healed and some of my red skin is mixing with the yellow making it orange and will it turn a bright yellow once healed. If not how long will I need to wait to have a touch up to brighten the yellow on the moon?
Answer Jolyn,
You should have nothing to be concerned over. The colors are always darker until the tattoo has healed because of the blood mixed with the pigments. Remember, yellow and red make orange. Also remember how dark a scab is. If it isn't as bright as you want it after it heals then get it touched up. Give it at least 30 days before you consider a touch-up.
