Question
I have a rosery tattoo around my ankel and on the top of my foot.I got it over
a year ago and suddenly it developed a rash on the ankel part of the tattoo
and it itches.the rash is only on the tattoo and not on my plain skin.do you
have any idea what it could be?

Answer
Kait-

Generally, once ink is healed without problems, new ones don't appear.  Maybe it is just a coincidence- something irritated the area of skin that just happens to be tattooed.  If it was ink related, I'd expect it to affect all the ink, not just a bit.

That said, I'm not a doctor and if it doesn't get better or develops anything new, would recommend you consult your health care provider.

Good Luck!
