Question my brother and his friends are all 15. i just walked in 2 my kitchen and saw them sitting there with sewing needles. they were dipping the needles in to ink from a pen and then repetitively stabbing the pen ink in to their skin. One of these kids now has a C on his hand and the others will not stop. How bad is pen ink for the body? I told them they could die from this but they did not believe me and kept going. PLEASE give me things to tell them to make them stop. They need facts that will prove i'm right.
thank you
Answer Nicole,
The ink that is in writting pen ink IS NOT tattoo pigment. It is of a chemical base and is very toxic in the skin. Tattoo pigment is carbon based and pasturized. Your brother and his friends are not only opening themselves up to possible ink poisoning but could also end up with life threatening infections and diseases such as staph and hepatitus. Add to that the fact that they are scarring themselves and will have to pay large amounts of money later on to get these "TATTOOS" covered and or removed, well lets just say they are really causing a loit of damage to themselves. The kid with the "C" on his hand just delegated himself to working in minial labor jobs for the rest of his life, like fast food or garbage pickup. In the professional higher dollar job market hand tattoos are taboo. Your brother and his friewnds need to stop immediately and your parents should be seeing to this because they could also be sued by the parents of one of the other kids over this especially since it is happening in your home.
Hope I've been some help to you. If I can be of further assistance please let me know.
