Subject: INJURED Spouse
Question I saw that you answered a question on injured spouse but failed to give the right answer. you gave conditions on "INNOCENT spouse" Not INJURED spouse. I was hoping that you had the information on how that state of AZ. will treat my income portion. Az in the question I saw you almost answer it was very close to my wife and I. She has school loans outstanding, I don't they took all my refund and stimulus check $$ and I want it back. I didn't get the education I don't want to pay for it. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Answer You qualify for injured spouse relief if you are not required to pay the past due amount, you reported income, and you made payments on income tax that you did not get back due to the past due item.
You should file Form 8379 to get injured spouse relief.
Hope this helps.
