Question I am not a US citizen and not a us resident. I am from Argentina and I have an online business working from Argentina. I will like to offer my service in the USA, too. How can I apply for a LLC?. Do I have to pay taxes? In which state do i have to apply?. In a feew weeks i will be doing business for 3 months in NJ. I have to apply there?. Regards,
Ignacio Ares.
Answer Mr. Ares:
First you have to apply to some state, secretary of state, to see if you can register an LLC as a non-resident alien.
If you are doing the work from Argentina, then you may not have any legal contact with the USA an therefore have no USA tax consequence.
If you could provide me a little more detail, hopefully, I will have a better answer.
