Question
what happen when you have  a lien on you house and the ten years of you taxes  already pass. and is that trut  you can work pennis for the dollar that you own on any taxes. thank you

Answer
Ms. Hermandez:

I need a little more information before I can render an opinion.  My understanding of your question is some what limited.

You have a tax lien filed against your home.  Is the tax lien, Federal, State, or County (City)?  Is the tax lien for non payment of property tax, income tax, or some other tax?  Or is the lien a mechanical lien file to protect the rights of a contractor for work done on the property?

A reply to these questions will assist me with an answer.

John
