Question
If my primary residence is in CA, but I own a second home in Oregon and do some work online from that house do I have to pay Oregon state taxes?

Answer
Rich,

Thanks for your question.

If the money is earned in OR, you owe state taxes on it. Since that's where you are working, my answer would be "yes."  File as a non resident/part year resident.  CA will give you a credit for tax paid to OR.

Hope this helps.
