Question
After filing a schedule c tax return, when does the government receive those. I heard there was a delay on schedule c. Is this in fact true and if so do u know how long? Thank you

Answer
Mark,

There is a delay in filing a return with certain forms --- Sch C is NOT one of them. However, frequently, Schedule C has Form 4562 attached which is a delayed form.

Here is a link of delayed forms: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Newsroom/List-of-IRS-forms-that-1040-filers-can-begin-fil

IRS expects the delay to last  until late February and possibly into early March.

Take care,
