Question I've heard that drinking 5+ cups a green tea a day either prevents or reduces heart disease. I'm not drinking it for weight loss. I don't care about that.
But it also has multiple health benefits. I drink it for the strong antioxidants green tea has.

I drink alot of green tea - about 5 cups a day. I'll use a tea bag twice, instead of using one every time.
Can you use a tea bag more than once? Or is it good to only use one time? I'm just wondering if I'm still getting the antioxidants just as strong as the first time.

Hello Kelley! That's great that you drink a lot of green tea! You can use the same bag twice, but you probably will not achieve the same benefits; you will notice that the flavor is usually a bit weaker the second time around which signifies a lower saturation. Is there a specific reason you are drinking so much green tea? Wu Long tea is made from the same plant (Camelia sinensis) and has been shown to burn up to 157% more calories than Green tea. Answer Drinking 5+ cups per day of any caffeinated tea does not sound healthy to me. I would suggest you cut down your intake to 2-3 cups per day. You should still receive plenty of benefits. Do you have heart disease? If you are doing this as a preventive measure, then I would suggest moderation because over-doing anything can cause other problems. If you are trying to treat a present condition, then I would really speak to a healthcare professional about designing a lifestyle plan tailored to your needs.
