Question How long does tea stay fresh? I have a bunch of tea from 2003 and I'm wondering if it would make me sick if I drank it.
Answer Tea doesn't go rancid or bad it simply goes stale and losses its flavor and aroma. Black teas stay good for at least a year depending on packing. Green tea usually starts loosing flavor after about 6 months. Oolongs are some where in between.
