Question
I have tried tea from CoffeeBean Direct and Wu Long for Life.  I must say, their tea was dark brown and tasted like armpit.  I kid you not.  I was wondering if wu long tea is supposed to taste bitter, or are these companies just giving cheap tea to their customers?

Answer
I can't say I've ever had tea that tasted like that!  Dark brown doesn't mean the tea is bad necessarily, but it does mean that it is more oxidized than other Wu Long teas.  I personally prefer a less oxidized grade of Wu Long tea that is characterized by it's green color.  I have been drinking Infusium Tea's teabags for a while now and have been very happy with their flavor and freshness. I don't know what could cause such a taste, but try out the tea from www.infusium-tea.com and let me know what you think.  I hope that this is helpful.
