Answer Yes, mild caffeine. It is nowhere near what you would find in coffee. If you are still concerned, a simple trick that is often used to decaffeinate tea is to flush the tea leaves with hot water for 2 minutes before brewing. This can help remove up to 50% of the caffeine in the tea leaves.
