Thanks for sharing your expertise with the world! :) I'm a new teacher in charge of looking for computers for our small, private school. Currently we have a lab of about 20 Windows 95/98 computers. They are all slowly dying off. It's very tragic! :) Actually the kids are very frustrated. Would you have any knowledge, insight, guidance for this teacher looking to create a lab with funds as little as 5,000 dollars.
Thank you,
Karen
Answer Dear Karen
You have to know that I live in Croatia so I don't know uch about your possibilities. I can only share my experience. I work at Business school and we've receive donation of some huge (and wealthy) companies in our county (since we are the only school of that kind in the county). Also, our Principal rent a school computers (and classrooms) to private school (sort of language, sewing, typing courses) and the school used that money to buy computers.
I don't know if my information will be of any good for your case - but use brainstorming with your students (and their parents) and some ideas have to show up!
Kind regards from the Adriatic coast - PULA (near Trieste, Italy) - Croatia
Greetings to all of your students too!
