Question
Can you advise how to streamline and simplify  search results when helping 3rd-5th Grade research on the Internet.

Also is there a guideline to teach Word/Excel/PowerPoint to above group.  This is my first year teaching an hour of class.  Any recommendations on how to structure - what falls under the umbrella of beginner/intermediate/advanced?

Answer
HI!
You can simplify search results by typing more key words with operators AND, NOT and OR as well as by puting phrases in " , example: "Ben Hur" will return much less results than simply Ben Hur. Please read the instructions of advanced searching for Google or other browser. It is better to learn students to put more keywords than to filter millions of results if they put only one keyword.

For the second question I simply cannot help you since I am in Croatia (Europe) and the literature and curriculum are different from yours, sorry.
