Question
Laura,
What kind of research format/guide can I provide my students with in order to research a country?

Answer
The best research guide I know of is called Big 6, but it is involved.
The easiest one to teach is called FlipIt, by Alice Yucht. Her website is http://www.aliceinfo.org/ and it has extensive information about what FlipIt is, and how to implement it in the classroom.  I would not hesitate this to do a country report, or any other kind of report.

Check out Alice's website and try it.
