Question
Dear Laura
It vould be kind of you if you would let me know your opinion of stage four in this
the recursive loop in this diagram

http://www.ncrel.org/sdrs/areas/issues/students/learning/lr1zpd.htm

What is the meaning of “Deautomatization”?

Why is the loop recursive? Does it indicate that development has do be “redone”

In my understanding ZPD is a concept dealing development in broad sense, rather than specific skills which can of course need refreshment.

Thank you
Erik

Answer
Erik,
I need a little more information so I can help you. All of these things are theory and theorist specific. So, of course, this is not the way I learned it. Please fill in some of the information you do know for me. Who is the theorist? What did your instructor tell you about the diagram? Is it also in your text book? I looked around on the web site, but could not find any other information about it.

If you can please send me some more information, I can try to help.
Laura
