Question
i;ve been working in a primary school as a learning support assisstant(LSA) for a year and a half now. i will continue working in this school next year were i will be working in class in the mornings as a LSA and in the afternoons as a specialist EAL teaching assisstants.i love working in a school. i'm very popular. it was the first job i applied for since leaving college two years ago. the subjects i studied in school wre art and design, photography and fashion and textiles.i would like to become a primary school teacher teaching specialising in art. i'm not sure what to do? what course? degree? to become a teacher as i've only got A-level qualifications in art base subjects.

Answer
Please forgive me for not answering your question properly... I just picked my husband up from ICU/Open Heart Surgery. My plate is FULL.

I suggest you talk to a counselor in admissions at any college you choose that has art education. Someone can help you.

Also, a person named Judy Decker could be of assistance. Her email is:
jdecker4art@yahoo.com  or   JDecker@woh.rr.com
She is the head of an art education email group of which I am a member. She is very knowledgable and could steer your in the proper direction.

Sorry for the brief answer.
