Question
I can only buy over 5 dollar stocks.  What would you recommend thatI buy or go to find what to buy?  We have to be registered in Feb. and we start playing in the beginning of March and end in May.  So, I want to get a head start on things.  We can do Mutual Funds.  Do you think there is any chance of making a siginifant amount doing it(or is it worth it?)  We can only spend up to 50,000 dollars on one stock.  (We start with $100,000)

Question -
Our Stockmarket Game is going to start in February.  What would be some good stocks to watch for when the game starts?
Answer -
I find no correlation to the market starting in Feb. However, I only look long term and a fundamentalist. We buy and hold long term, get under the hood on the financials and the story of a company. Buy low and sell high is the best fundamental way to purchase stocks or mutual funds.

You might go to the free site of http://wfnn.info and look over the recommended, and then go to the mutual fund section. You can also find about 2000 public companies written up by hitting the search button and type in a company name or symbol on the search panel.

Answer
I would suggest a free site. You can become an email member for free also. All the buy and sell recommendations go out of this site. There is a mutual fund section of recommendations to the left side. The site's name is http://wfnn.info and I recommend this as a good start. In the search section, see search button on the top, you can look up over 2000 companies and look at reports for over 50 stock markets.
