Question I'm having a debate with one of my friends on what is the most popular toy of all time. He said that it is barbie, but I am saying it's the teddy bear. I've also read that national geographic once announced that the teddy bear is the worlds most popular toy. Of all time, do you think the teddy bear is more popular than barbie? What about the slinky, the yo-yo, or the hula hoop?

Answer Well thats a hard one, indeed barbie is the most popular doll but the bear is far older and I would think that all in all the bear would come out tops in the best seller ever, the bear has never been out of circulation, as for barbie well along came sindy and other such items such as the space hopper, so as a constant the bear must be tops :O) as for the slinky a quick fad, the hula hoop the same, action man would come under the same as barbie, I am sure if you delved deeper probably the jacks or some other game would pop up.. for me its the bear :O)
