Well, there's this guy who has been my best friend in my class since kindergarten. I have had a crush on him since 4th grade, and now in 7th grade he asks me to the dance so I am so happy about it. We slow danced but it was awkward but not awkward with the other guys I danced with. But now everyone is trying to get us to be bf/gf and I want that so much but I am not sure about him. He keeps acting normal and hiding from me even though I'm flirting a little, and it is OBVIOUS flirting. My friend told me that he said he liked me but he won't tell me that and I think he might want to be just friends! Does he like me and what do I do?????

sorry i wish i could help but there's not enough to tell if he likes you. everyone acts differently when it comes to someone they like. it's possible that he's shy or he's just worried about that your friendship is at risk if you guys go out.
but if you really like him, i suggest you go for it. the guy i'm dating is my best friend and we were friends for a long while before we got together. and i had no idea how he felt about me but once he made it clear, it was like a light switch went off and i realized that it could be really great.
even if you're flirting with your best friend, he might not really see it as flirting because it's never crossed his mind you'd see him that way. make sense?
