Question hey sandi, i'm 14 almost fifteen and going to ninth grade. so my best friend for almost 4 years i now have a crush on, but the thing is that i can't seem to win her over and she now knows i like her(im not sure that was a smart decision now)and she has liked me a little bit on and off since our friendship started but nothing has happened. When were in seventh grade she liked me alot and i turned her down but she didn't take it well, ok i won't undersell it i was an ass but it didn't stop our friendship. she has been my go to girl (meaning if i liked someone i would go to talk to her about what to do) but now i can't talk to her about it so im talking to you. i've liked her for about a month and in that time she WAS going out with one of my best friend, and her friend died in a car accident that she has known for a very long time. I was there for her which i think she noticed i biked three miles in to her house to give her a hug i made a move but it was too soon and i made a fool of myself. She knows im "Sweet" because of how i treated my past girl friends and on a class trip i saw her looking at a necklace and when she walked away i ran back to the store and bought it for my friend to give to her and she gave him a big hug and kiss ( that was hard to watch) but her friend later told her it was me. we have gotten in a couple fights since i've started liking her i said some stupid excuse but really it was because she didn't like me and i'll admit it . One of her friends suggested i try to make her jealous but that didn't work and all the stuff and said was negated because she said if i could get over her so fast then i couldn't of really loved her now i see her everyday during the summer when i have swim practice and she has dive at our neighborhood pool and people are telling me to jsut wait it out but i don't want to do that i can't wait for my feeling s and i tried to bottle up things but that didn't work i don't know what to do so any advice i don't have any real email im sorry but i will check this site frequently thank you (this is my step brothers i don't see him but i know the password (: )
Answer i think you should try and just be good friends with her for now. later on at some point let her know you are sorry for everything that happened in the past and that you like her more then friends. take it slow and steady. let her know your true feelings and be open and honest with her. maybe she will eventually realize you mean it. good luck!
