About Ryan
Expertise
I can answer questions about long distance relationships, high school/college relationships, crushes, jealousy, heart break, love at a young age, sex at a young age and talking about marriage when you're in your teens. I can also help if your parents dissaprove of your bf/gf. I know all the lingo, I know Facebook, IMing, MySpace, etc., so hearing these words won't be new to me.

Experience
I have been through numerous relationships, long distance relationships, and loving ones. I know how to handle every situation in the manner it should be.

Education/Credentials
In college for engineering, have taken numerous psychology/sociology classes in college, as well as having a mother who is a psychiatrist.

Question
Okay so I have this boyfriend and it's like we are on and off relationship. We started dating in December. But like I said have broken up several times and got back together. We are dating once again and I wanna know if I should stay with him. Because I'm afraid to get hurt again. Like I want to know why I keep on going back to him when a lot of other guys want to go out with me. Do you think I'm in love or what? Because to me he seems so irresistable and addictive etc. But we only talk through text. Never in person or anything. Do you think he can change or is it me? Idk. Please help.

Answer
Gabby,

It seems that if the relationship is solely based on texting, it's not too strong. You need more from a boyfriend than words on a phone, you need one to be there for you in person, one you can actually see and talk to. It seems you're breaking up because the communication is so poor. I can't give you an answer on what to do, but my opinion would be to think long and hard, and give him a call for once.

-Ryan
