Question I met this guy a year or year and a half back online (same country), and we've been great friends ever since. We chat late nights and tell each other all of our problems, or basically whatever one would do with you're really good and close friends. I've always had this little crush on him since then too. we are so similar, and he's a great person tio know. however recently he told me that he's been having feelings for me since the turn of the new year and as I told you, I had always found myself attracted to him, though I went out with another guy from my grade for 3 months. He's not forcing me into anything at all. he's told me to think about it without any sort of a pressure, and he said he's going to pop the question, only when he comes to meet me, for the first time, next year after my final exams, since this year is very crucial to me academically. he's 22 and a half and i turned 16 in April. I really don't know what I should be doing, since he's almost like the perfect guy Ive known and he really likes me a lot, and him liking me is like this dream come true. also, the issue is that he'll be shifting abroad soon, though he's to come back to the country very often regularly. please help me decide what decision I should take.
Answer I don't recommend online relationships. The age difference is big and also I've seen a lot of predators online. Talk to our internet safety expert about online risks. My advice is don't meet him in person or give out personal information to him. Sorry
