Question
Lately I've been going to the pool a lot and noticed that the lifeguard was a hottie! So after a couple glances and flirty smiles we ended up talking a bit [not too much detail] and [with a couple more visits] he gave me his number. The problem is that I'm a bit nervous and don't know what to say so i didn't call him that afternoon. I saw him at the pool the next day, we didn't get a chance to talk but he still gave me those flirty looks. He is a bit shy and he recently came from Russia so my question is.... Should i make the first move? and if so what do you recommend i do? [i still haven't called him since I'm a bit nervous and don't know what to say]

Answer
L,

He gave you his number, so yes, it's up to you to make the first move. I'd try talking a little more in person at the pool, then call him. Obviously he's working and you can't really talk too much, but small talk does help.

After you feel you know a little about him, then I'd make the move to call.
