Question So I've been dating my boyfriend for 3 and a half months. Im 19 and he is 21. We've already rounded all the bases so to speak i guess you could say. And we love to shop together. We are both on our college basketball teams. We both have jobs and he is currently taking a summer class. Im at a loss...I miss him all the time and i understand were both bizzi so i try to not get anggry or frustrated i jus wish i could see him more ya no. And im getting bored. Im sick of always going shopping or always going for dinner. I need something that makes me want to see him every time i do. It is enough that im head over heels for him but im just tired of doing the same old thing ya no. I just dont know what to do, but I do know i dont want to get bored and lose him, because he has been the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time and i havent been this happi in awhile either. Im just afriad if im getting bored then so is he and im also scared he is going to see me as to needy because i have bitched recently about not seeing him alot and him always wanting to leave so early when we do see each other. I need someones help...please
Answer Stephanie,
It's great that you two enjoy doing the same things together, but I can see where it could get boring.
Try talking to him. Tell him you have a lot of fun, but it'd be nice to do more things, "couple" things. Maybe while you two are shopping, you could see a movie, or grab dinner. Hint at him what else you'd like to do, without being too "needy". Odds are, he's sort of feeling the same way, and would love to do other things. Good luck.
