Expert: Ryan Date: 7/8/2008 Subject: would it be weird to ask this girl out?
Question so i became gud friends with this girl on Facebook through an ackward situation. it just happened that our parents worked together & we lived 30min away from each other. eventually our parents found out we knew each other on Facebook. around prom time. my mom thought she was a nice gurl and asked her parents if she would be my prom date as if i couldnt get a date on my own, which i did, she already had a date & everything too. but that made things really ackward between us a few weeks later Her parents invited me over to meet her cause they thought i had asked her to prom threw my mom & like her this was the first time we had ever met. she was unbelievable attractive! we ended up hitting it off really well and hung out and talked for the entire day i got her number and we text on & off but she had a bf so i didnt make any moves. she invited me to her house again a few weeks later to meet her friends and hang out. she told me she single and if i wanna hang out again just ask. would it be weird to date her?
Answer Deron,
It wouldn't be weird at all. It seems you two have started to become mutual friends, and she's made the first move to hang out.
I know the way you two met may seem "weird", but in today's world, this is a way many people meet, and is completely normal. Good luck!
