About Ashley
Expertise
I can answer a lot of questions involving dating. My expertise ranges from sex to kissing, abstinence to friendship and everything little thing in between. If I can`t answer your question, I`ll ask around from my friends until I find the answer.

Experience
I've been through a lot of crap involving guys and friends for the majority of my life so I have a lot of experience dealing with teen problems because I most likely had the same problem at one time in my life. I love to give advice and I'm a great listener.

Question
Dear Ashley,
I can't stop thinking about my best friend.  I've known him since he was two and I was three.  Now that we are in high school, I'm falling for him, and hard.  We've seen each other at our worst, and also at our best.  I can talk to him about everything.  Anything we do together is fun.  He finds little excuses to touch me, like brushing my arm.  He likes to give me shoulder rides, because every time he does I shake uncontrollably.  It's a little embarassing, how physically I react when he touches me...  But I love who I am around him.  I think about him constantly and everything reminds me of him.  I even dream about him at night.  Every time my phone rings I hope it's him.  I pray for him every day.  I'd love to ask him out, to make our relationship more formal than just two people who hang out together.  The only problem is, if the relationship doesn't work out, it might ruin our friendship.  Do you think I should talk to him about how I feel or do you think he’d be weirded out?  I’d rather be close friends than lose him completely.  I'd really appreciate an outside opinion.  Thanks,
Kate

Answer
Kate -

You should definitely tell him how you feel otherwise you will end up regretting it. Isn't it better that he knows how you feel? what if he feels the same way? Sometimes you gotta take risks. Just be honest and hopefully he feels the same way, and if not...I'm sure your friendship will be able to recover.

Ashley
