Question
Hey...This is my 1st time writing here~ I'm a 17 year old boy..Lets get down to my problem......Its about my relationship with my girlfriend..Well, she is the same age with me and has a habit of texting her message short, but that is not the matter...We've been a couple for 8 months now..^^

Anyway..We use to be a happy go lucky couple and we usually do things together and care for each other very well..Example when i suddenly get sick, she would text me how are u 'hubby'? or something sweet...And then we always text and call each other almost 24/7....This honeymoon just lasted for 4-5 months.

The last 3 months, she suddenly acted very weird..I feel like she is ignoring me or something.....She call me and text me lesser than before...I began suffering because of this problem and i can't concentrate on my studies and i cant get enough of sleep..I even lost weight due to my lost of appetite...When i wanted 2 confronted her through text message about this matter, she's like wanna escape something and keep telling she is tired or she's busy kinda excuse.....Is it me or is her wanna break up with me?

I love her more than anything...I always have a feeling of losing her and that increases my sufferings more....I think if this goes on....I might do something crazy~

When i ask her if she still misses me or loves me, she would say yes.... I trust her cause i love her, too! Then i found out that her father is a bad tempered man...Her father warn her to get good result in the upcoming exam if not he would slap the hell out of her....How could a father do this to his daughter?! Her father likes coming back home drunk and scold her.....
Maybe this was the answer of why suddenly she like ignore me so much?... I just don't know....

I love her very much.....We had sex together in the beginning of our relationship because we love and trust each other...It was full of memories thinking back...I really hope that we can go back to the happy days..Its not because that i can have sex with her that make me don't want to lose her but i just love her because she had something in her that other girls can't give me...(not her body though..duh..)

My question is: how can i make my girlfriend back to our happy moments?...

Answer
Well, first of all you are very sweet for talking and worrying about her like this! It seems to me that you are right about her dad. I think she may be holding things back from you regarding him. The worst thing in a relationship is to hold the important stuff back. If you are really serious about keeping her and loving her then you need to figure out a time you two can talk on the phone or in person and get to the bottom of this. Explain how much you love her but you feel like she has been pulling away. Give her a chance to explain, and if she doesn't, gently mention her father. Let her know you are there to support and comfort her. I wish you all the best!
