Question I have a boy that I like that I met from camp. I did not like him at first because I thought his friends were perverts and I did not want to hang out with perverts considering we were at church camp. I would catch him looking at me every so often. I thought nothing about it. So I was by the swings one day and he asked me to come over so I did. He asked me why I hated him. I asked him why does it matter. He said that I didn't answer his question. I told him I didn't hate him. So on so forth. I was hanging out with my Chelsey by his friend and I noticed Reed (the guy I like# had man sandals on. #Man sandals freak me out# So I was telling Chelsey that I don't like man sandals. His friend heard and told Reed that I hated him because of his man sandals. Reed said that he would wear shoes if that is why I hated him. I told him I didn't hate him cause of that. The bell rang. So we went inside the chapel. He kept bugging me during chapel so I told him the truth. #That I didn't want to hang out with him cause his friends were perverts# He said he would tell them to stop. So he hung out with me and my friend Erin while we were playing find the counselors. #They're both in my family group)He told me my feet were small and stuff like that. That I was short. and I told him no one dates me usually cause I'm short. He said he dated short people all the time. So campfire comes around and I sit with him, Erin, Ashley, and one of his friends. He asked me to ask out Ashley. I did. She said no the first time. Then he asked her out again and I didn't know about it. She lied to me. I got mad.. started crying..and stuff like that. He tried to talk to me but I shut him off. At the end we had to clean the dorms (my family group anyways) and he kept calling my name and asking if I was alright, cause it was NASTY, and at this time he was dating Ashley. So what my question is Do you think he liked me? or used me to get to Ashley? Do You think he still likes me if he did before?
Answer Hey Cheylynne. I'm so sorry about getting back to you so late. Well, I think he may have liked you but was probably really discouraged. The fact that you kept treating him like you didn't like him was probably upsetting. And, since he is a boy he spent time on you and you rejected him so he moved on. If you can, I would try talking to him and asking him if he liked you at first, and apologize. In the future, if you like a guy don't be so quick to brush him off, give him some time. You might end up regretting it! I really hope things work out for you. If you like him then hopefully you two can work things out. And if you don't, then there are plenty of guys out there, just make sure to make them feel special. :) Good luck!
