Hey, my name's amber and i'm 14. I've used to date this guy, andrew. During the summer we've decided to break up, but up until recently we've been "friends", but treating each other like we're going out. We were spending a lot of time with each other and acting like a couple. But, we've been fighting a lot more it seems now that we're back in school. When we fight in school, he says a lot of mean things and treats me very badly. & when we do, i say things like, i don't think it's a good idea to talk anymore. He always gets really upset that i don't talk to him because he doesn't understand why i don't want to talk to him or be his friend. I'm sick of the drama and i want to move on. So, we got into a fight yesterday because i wasn't speaking to him and i ended up apologizing because i just want the fight to end. He hasn't been answering my text messages since then, and i know that hes ignoring me. In school today, he didn't talk to me at all either. I'm super confused now and i don't know what to do. i'm driving myself insane trying to figure out why he's doing this. I can't get him off my mind now. :[ What do i do???

Hello Amber,

If you still want to talk to him or be friends, you need to get him alone so the two of you can talk and sort this whole problem out. Him ignoring you, and the fighting isn't helping one another and it's doing nothing but pushing the two of you away. Let him know that it's hurting your feelings and you would like to get this straightened out so the two of you can be friends again. I wouldn't stress so much over one guy though. You're young, and there are plenty of guys out there to date. He'll see that once you no longer have him in mind.
