I Started dating this boy who is shy and extremely  conservative about 5 months ago. I know he really likes me and i really like him too. we're both 18 and before me he had never kissed a girl, or had a girlfriend before. And therein lies the problem. He wont touch me. No holding hands, no hugs, no kissing. I've done the whole boything before so I kissed him first to elevate stress on his part. Then the 6 subsequent times we went out i was the one making the first move because he was still too nervous. So I told him I wasn't going to make the first move again until he atleast tried. But that was 3 months ago and we go out all the time and he still hasn't tried. We're coming up on our 6 months and i wanted to know should i be patient and wait? Accept that he's too shy and kiss him? Or cut my losses and break up? He's told me he loves me and I think I believe him, and belive me when i say i have tried to talk to him about it. But he says hes sorry and he doesn't know what keeps him so nervous.I am trying to be understanding but at 3 months I am getting a little ancy.

I want to be able to answer your question but I can't. You see the problem is that I have the same exact problem. And I do mean exact. I had to read it twice thinking I may have wrote it myself.

Me and my boyfriend have the same problem. I had to initiate the first kiss and so forth but I won't do it any more. Me and him are also coming up on our 6 months in like a week and a half. We haven't kissed since July I ask him but he says he doesn't know. He also tells me he loves me but I don't know if I can believe him if he can't do that little thing.

So unfortunately I can't answer this. If you get an answer to yours I would love to hear it.
