Question QUESTION: My boyfriend and I's 1-year anniversary is coming up on Nov. 25. I am trying to think of a good gift that my boyfriend will love... but the problem is I have no clue what I should get him. I am 17 years old and my boyfriend is 17 years old as well. We are each other's first long term relationship. So that makes our 1 year even more important to us. I want to give him a really good gift that shows him how much a care about him. It can be a non expensive- to- semi expensive gift. The gifts I have given him before are a shirt for his birthday(after 1 month), made him peanut butter balls for valentines day( about 3 months)framed picture of us and basket full of his favorite things(candy, Cd, ect) for our 6 month, and I wrote him a poem(just because i love him). I don't really have any more ideas on what to do for a gift. I am out of ideas. Could you please help me think of some ideas??
Thank you,
Anna
ANSWER: Hi,
Not really my area as we do have a "gift" area if I recall on Allexperts, yet I guess what will it hurt if I try to help you out here.
Can I ask his favorite actor name? Favorite types of movies? Hobbies?

True gifts are those that do not cost a lot of money

QUESTION: I know gifts aren't really your area but i thought maybe you could help me from a guys point of view. I really appreciate your help. I know he likes Matt Damon... his favorite type of of movies are like modern-day gun movies(such as shoot 'em up)... Hobbies: cars, pool, movies, playing, aerosoft(sp.), baseball. He likes classic/ modern-day rock music.
ANSWER: Hi,
Sorry about the delay. Overloaded here. I do recommend our "gift" experts, yet because he likes Matt Damon maybe your parents can help you get something like this:
Official name listed below as quoted from a for sale site that is not related to me.
"THE BOURNE IDENTITY SIGNED MOVIE SCRIPT BY 5 MATT DAMON "
They cost about 20 something dollars after shipping and they do make good gifts. They are not real signed, yet preprinted signed in MOST cases. Because of your age, I cannot tell you where to get them, yet if your parents approve, let me know and I'll post one site that I know of with this.
Legal note---The sites I recommend are not related to me and to be used at your own risk. I don't endorse the products they sell and don't check to make sure they are real or such.
I will say that the site I can recommend does accept major credit cards and is on a major website. If your parents want to order this and you pay them back, always use a Public business address(work address) or PO box address. Talk to our internet safety experts for internet safety tips. I recommend only having them pay for it and not you as you may not be allowed to do such. They must type in the information and sign it.
I hope this gift doesn't buy his "liking for you", yet I hope it gives you things to talk about and makes you both happy.

QUESTION: Hey,
My parents said that it sounds like a cool idea depending on the website. They would need to see if they think it is a reliable source.
Thank you for you all of your help i appreciate it!!
Answer Hi,
Preprints are copies of autographs. Now, to some it looks like a real hand written autograph if done by a good company. The thing is if you know what to look for you can tell it's a preprint. The ink may be too solid or such and that's one sign it's a preprint. Or you can tell it's a copy by the curves or such. I know a drop about autographs as I semi collect them. I can tell a preprint or an autosign pretty well. Of course if it's hand signed it would cost a ton more.
The website I will recommend is a marketplace for sellers/companies worldwide. It's Ebay.com. I don't know the sellers there and of course remember online safety. You can pay some people with a Money order or in some cases use Paypal. Check the policies for safety and check to make sure their feedback is good. Just a basic search for Matt Demon found this, yet they have other copies of such on their site. Remember online safety. Use a PO box or a work address and never list your last name(online because you are below a certain age.). Ask for tracking as many sellers will do this for free. Some sellers won't respond to questions, yet many will. Online bidding tips and safety tips should be on the Ebay website. If you have questions about online safety I recommend your parents, your school and our internet safety experts.
If it's going to a work address, it can get loss without a last name. There are certain ways to help prevent loss. Most things sold online do not get loss. Our online shopping area can offer advice to help you out.
Please let me know if you choose to get such as a gift and let me know how he likes it.
Best of luck,
Dan

Due to Ebay's policies I believe your parents would have to bid and buy it for you. If they agree you can pay them back. You can get free copies of some movie scripts online, however not preprinted or autosigned from what I know(maybe things changed, yet so far I don't recall hearing of any free). I just noticed the one I recommended above is the start off bid of around 17 dollars. It does not include shipping costs in the above price. That's around 8 dollars. 25 dollars for such in my mind is not bad. Make sure the person is known in the field and check their feedback. Talk to your parents more about such.
P.S. My brother has an preprint of a Matt Demon picture, yet it's nothing like the above. He paid I think 10 dollars for the preprint. He tells people it's real and his friends not knowing much about the subject think it is.
