Expert: Dan Date: 10/10/2007 Subject: HELP im just a friend?
Question QUESTION: I have know this girl for a few years weve been friends for a while, she is a
grade above me. She is in college now, shes almost 18 and im almost 17.
anyways, i asked her out in september and she said yes. we went to a football
game and she said she had a great time and then later i asked her out to a
movie and she said she would love to but had a lot of homework so she
suggested we go for coffee. So the problem is that i am really quite shy and
have been hurt a few times by other girls. this was actually my first
relationship. but she sent me an email saying that in her mind i am still just a
friend and that its not going to work out. So im just confused at why this
happened, we seemed to have a good time. Was it because i was to shy to
hold hands or hug her. And also, is there anyway that you can help me
possibly improve my current situation.
ANSWER: Hi,
Expert Dan here from the question pool. I am wondering if you need anymore help for this above problem

QUESTION: Yes that would be a great help, I am not really sure what i could/should do. I am
starting to get over her, though very slowly. I would still love to have another
chance with her but it wont kill me if i cant. Also i am curious on what actually is
going on and if i can change anything so it might not happen again.
Answer Hi,
Sorry about the delay. Overloaded here. Have you asked in our:

"Body language area"
What draws you to her? What makes you feel this way near her? Do you think she is super busy? Is she in college or going to college? Is she ready to date you?
