Since I'm a teen, I can answer questions relating to teenage fashion, what kinds of clothes make you look older or younger than what you actually are, and where you can find bargains that resemble designer clothes. However, since I'm usually focused on the new, I don't know much about vintage clothing. Additionally, although I know a lot about skirts, shorts, and shoes, outerwear fashion is beyond me.
Experience I design or redesign some of my own clothes, and I am constantly trying out new looks. Additionally, I've also learned quite a few fashion tricks on how to stand out and how to blend in.
Question what is in fashion this spring and summer? And are skinny jeans and flats out?

Summer fashions tend to be the same as Spring fashions, so I assume they are the same and have listed them here.
-Bright, bold colors
-Flowy clothing
-Wide-leg and flared jeans (although skinny is still in)
-Feminine/fluttery styles and pastel colors
-Nautical (only if stripes look good on you)
-Preppy (plaid is still hot)
-pencil skirts (but super short skirts are out)
-Sheer fabric and clothing
-High waisted pants and shorts
-1920s vintage clothing
-Menswear for girls
Accessories trends include:
-skinny belts (it's all about the waist this season)
-scarves around the neck and silk ones around the head
-big and bold jewelry
-feminine, delicate jewelry (yeah, it contradicts the one above. Just be sure not to wear them together)
Skinny jeans are still a staple this year and flats are also fast becoming a necessity for everyday life.
