AboutZ. Amanda Chen Expertise I have always been interested in fashion and actually design/redesign some of my own clothes. Since I'm a teen, I can answer questions relating to teenage fashion, what kinds of clothes make you look older or younger than what you actually are, and where you can find bargains that resemble designer clothes. However, since I'm usually focused on the new, I don't know much about vintage clothing. Additionally, although I know a lot about skirts, shorts, and shoes, outerwear fashion is beyond me.
Experience I design or redesign some of my own clothes, and I am constantly trying out new looks. Additionally, I've also learned quite a few fashion tricks on how to stand out and how to blend in.

Question hi um my names Taylor and i'm 14. I uv fashion! But my school is just a laid back skater shoes, jeans and hoodie kinda place. I luv high heels, skirts and all that LA/NYC style! My older sister is a professional dancer in NYC and i love her fashion! I wanna be able to wear high heels 2 school but nobody else does. That would be wierd and awkward. Wat do i do???
Answer Hey Taylor,
my advice is to just be yourself. Maybe the reason why no one else wears heels and dresses that way is because everyone is so worried about the school trend. Just dress the way you like it and be confident. Be a trendsetter! Oh, and remember to be careful with heels in school. Bring bandaids with you so that you won't end up limping by the end of the day. I'm willing to bet that although the majority of your school dresses in a laid-back fashion, people will be impressed by the way you stand out.
