About Krista
Expertise
I can usually answer questions about alternative fashion styles. (e.g. scene, emo, punk, goth, hipster), I also know a good amount of hair and makeup tips connected to these styles as well. I can not answer any questions on the "prep" style, because I'm not a follower of it & I'm always behind on this style by about a year. I don't have anything against people who dress this way AT ALL, but all I'm saying is I'd be giving you the wrong advice. There are many experts in this category who can answer your questions a lot better than I can. Also, english is my only language, so if you send me any mail in french, or german, or whatever, I'll just end up not being able to respond & then I'll get all guilty

Experience
I have been following alternative fashions for quite a while now. I've always been complimented on my original style, & I know how to find good clothes in any store at all. from hot topic, to abercrombie & fitch.

Answer
Hi Pricilla.
I've got some good online sites for clothing/accessories.
I haven't ordered anything from them yet (broke.), so I'd probably do some research about how reliable they are.

http://www.modcloth.com
vintage/retro/indie clothing.
AMAZING accessories.

http://shanalogic.com/
I'm not sure about the quality of some of this stuff, but some of the stuff there is adorable, so I'm kind of a sucker.

http://www.glamourkills.com/
clothing line endorsed by many, many bands.

http://www.girlprops.com/
good accessory site in general.
Although, very strange corn on the cob necklaces..

http://store.americanapparel.net/
here's the american apparel online store.

As for actual stores, personally, I love Bang-on, which is a store that sells iron-on designs on basic clothing, and accessories. UNFORTUNATELY, it seems to have few stores in the US and most of the stores are located in Canada. You'd have to check their website if there are any locations near you.
Wet Seal has an amazing amount of graphic tees, so check there too. Also, last time I was in there, they had a whole load of pink and white zebra striped things. I don't know about you, but I loved a lot of it.
In general though, you can find stuff in pretty much any store, excluding stores like Abercrombie & Fitch, not because they're "preppy", but because everything in them has their name printed on it, which REALLY limits the selection.
Stores like Ross & Winners also generally have a couple of cute hoodies/tees, but you have to really REALLY search through it.

Anyways, again, I hoped this helped at least a little.
