About Z. Amanda Chen
Expertise
I have always been interested in fashion and actually design/redesign some of my own clothes. Since I'm a teen, I can answer questions relating to teenage fashion, what kinds of clothes make you look older or younger than what you actually are, and where you can find bargains that resemble designer clothes. However, since I'm usually focused on the new, I don't know much about vintage clothing. Additionally, although I know a lot about skirts, shorts, and shoes, outerwear fashion is beyond me.

Experience
I design or redesign some of my own clothes, and I am constantly trying out new looks. Additionally, I've also learned quite a few fashion tricks on how to stand out and how to blend in.

Education/Credentials
None.

Question
How can I customise my Drama uniform to look really good? We have to wear

-Black sweatpants
-Black T Shirt
-Dance sneakers (Mine are black and pink!)

Answer
Hey Beth,

Are you allowed to wear anything over your uniform?  If so, I would recommend a cute cropped blazer (in black if necessary) or a jacket you really like.  If you can't wear anything over it, wear black t-shirts with designs on them that you like, such as your favorite band or a smart alek comment.  You can also wear jewlery that reflects you, if that's allowed.

I don't really know any way around the black sweatpants, so just wear something you're comfortable in or that you really like.  As for the shoes, it seems like you already have them covered.

My school doesn't have a drama uniform for everyday class, but I'll assume that you'll need to be comfortable first and foremost.  Therefore, don't bring anything unnecessary, but if you're comfortable with it, by all means bring out your personality!

I hope that helped, and good luck,
~Amanda
