AboutZ. Amanda Chen Expertise I have always been interested in fashion and actually design/redesign some of my own clothes. Since I'm a teen, I can answer questions relating to teenage fashion, what kinds of clothes make you look older or younger than what you actually are, and where you can find bargains that resemble designer clothes. However, since I'm usually focused on the new, I don't know much about vintage clothing. Additionally, although I know a lot about skirts, shorts, and shoes, outerwear fashion is beyond me.
Experience I design or redesign some of my own clothes, and I am constantly trying out new looks. Additionally, I've also learned quite a few fashion tricks on how to stand out and how to blend in.
Question where can i find some low rise $15 jeans that will make my butt look booty licious, and will not hug my legs to tight. Oh i am a petite junior and need a size 0-5 it just depends on the brand. Help please!!! i can never find jeans that actaully fit!
Answer Hey Amanda!
It seems like finding jeans that actually fit right is a hard task for everyone (except models). You don't really give me a lot of information to work with here, so I'll try to do the best I can.
If you don't want jeans that hug your legs too tightly, I suggest you look for something that is either straight through the hip and thigh or relaxed. Whatever you do, DON'T fall for skinny jeans. Always look for flared legged jeans or a slim boot-cut. They look the most flattering on any figure. BTW, the wide-leg look is IN this fall.
Now as for the bootylicious part, it's best to look for jeans that are made of a slightly stiff material and that have bigger pockets. Something else to look for is the "curved seam" on the back of the jeans, above the pockets. It's sometimes described as a V. The more curved the seam is, the better and less boxy-looking your butt will be. Here's an image to show you. http://static.dailycandy.com/content/articles/25708/photo.jpg
Now normally, I would recommend the brands Siwy or something else which I could get in trouble if I write out. But since you're on a tight budget, the GAP curvy jeans also look great, as well as the Old Navy diva, flirt, and sweetheart curvy jeans. Here's are their links (and each only 14.99 to boot): http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do?cid=5468&pid=401774

And I think I may need to go buy these 9.99 curvy jeans while they're still on sale: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=26639&pid=315228
Well, the best advice I can give you is to just go out and try them on! You never know what something looks like 'till you've tried it. So have fun and I hope I helped!
