Question hi i am a 32 year old mother of 3 ages 14&12&10 all i no is english my 14 year old had sex for the first time on april the 25 it was time for her period to start the same week but it did not and it is may the 1 and she still has not stared she said it did not even fill like it was time she not even had any cramps whats do you think?
could she be pregnant or not?what are the chances of her getting pregnant on the week she was supposed to start? please help me if you can thank you melissa.

It's unlikely, but it's not impossible. So near the end of the cycle the chance of getting pregnant is small. The problem is that it is not possible to tell for sure, there is ALWAYS a chance of pregnancy (yes, even during the period itself, in rare cases). And there are so many aspects involved that it is impossible to be accurate about how big the chances are. It really takes a pregnancy-test to be sure.
There is a bigger chance, I think, that your daughter is overdue because of the 'upheaval' of the sex. First sex has quite an impact, both emotional and physical, so it's not unlikely that her hormones got out of step, and her cycle has become irregular (for this once). Still, I suggest you give her a test or send her to a doctor, as soon as possible.
