About Junko Expertise I can answer most questions pertaining to teen health, thought I cannot give medical advice. I can explain medical terminology, describe medical conditions and hopefully help people understand what is going on with their bodies. If I don`t know an answer to a question, being a medical student, I can easily find out the answer since I have many resources I can refer to.

Answer Hi Kevin,
Your symptoms could be caused by heartburn which results from the digestive juices in your stomach flowing backwards into the esophagus. This can be caused by a number of digestive problems. I'm reluctant to name any specific diseases or conditions just because there are quite a few things that can cause your general symptoms, and I wouldn't want you to unnecessarily worry about things you might not have. I would need more information to narrow things down, but it would be better for you to do that with a doctor.
If at any time you experience any shortness of breath or radiating pain to your jaw, left arm or back in between your shoulder blades in addition to your chest pain, you should seek immediate medical attention.
