About Junko Expertise I can answer most questions pertaining to teen health, thought I cannot give medical advice. I can explain medical terminology, describe medical conditions and hopefully help people understand what is going on with their bodies. If I don`t know an answer to a question, being a medical student, I can easily find out the answer since I have many resources I can refer to.

Answer Hi Kourtney,
I know I'm getting back to you after you've already had your concert, and I apologize for that. However, there really wasn't anything you could have done to "fix" your voice within a day if you did, in fact, have laryngitis. Laryngitis is most commonly caused by a virus, and it is treatment includes resting the voice (by not speaking), drinking extra fluids, and inhaling steam to relieve symptoms. As frustrating as it may be, usually you need to just wait it out until your voice returns to normal.
I hope your solo went ok, and maybe this information can help you next time.
