Question QUESTION: hi Greg, in my English class we have to make a cd and put songs on it. one of the songs must represent who you are, another song must represent your family and another song must represent what angers you the most. Do you have any ideas of songs or maybe a site that would help me find what I'm looking for? Thanks!

ANSWER: Well Juliana, I can't do much if I don't know what you want to be represented as in a song. For example, I would use the song teenager by my chemical romance because it's all about how society views you by your looks and I hate that. I dress punkish but I am actually a firefighter/EMT and people just think I am some ungrateful teenager. I don't know how you want to be represented or how you want to represent your parents. If you want to send me a trait or an idea you want to be represented as, I could look up some songs that would fit that. If you don't feel comfortable in telling me, then you can look on google by searching specific lyrics or just listen to some of your own music and really hear for lyrics that capture you.

QUESTION: ok well, my family's pretty much normal, i guess... theres no really conflict or secrets or anything... so i don't really know how to find a song about that.. i also now need to find a song that represent my friends and what type of friend i am. As for my friends well there really supportive and are always there for me when i am sad. As for what type of friend i am.. well i am always positive thats for one and my friends rarely get mad at me um.. i also work well with everyone and i am great at compromising.. um.. i also have to find a song on my greatest fear or insecurity.. and well I'm not exactly sure what that is.. I'm very afraid of spider lol and um.. i guess not fitting in or my parents being "disappointed" in me would fit in that category too..
Answer Alright well i will give you some songs to hear but remember, I am mainly in the rock scene.
For your fear: welcome to the black parade by my chemical romance because this song talks about how this one kid is meant to do all these things and will do so and live up to your parents expectations even when they die.
Thats really all I can dig up. Me and you grew up indiffernet backgrounds so i can't find anything for normal families and so forth. I'm sorry but you know what would help you get your answers? Try searching through lyrics databases. Also, listen to your own music and see if one jumps out at you. Sorry again
